Exploring Gulf Craft’s flagship Majesty Yachts series

Since the company’s inception in 1982, Gulf Craft has grown to become one of the most prolific shipyards and manufacturers of luxury superyachts in the world. Its diverse and versatile product portfolio is able to appeal to a wide range of clients, with models to meet every need. Its flagship Majesty Yachts series provides an extensive range of motor yachts ranging from 14-metres to 53-metres. Every Majesty yacht is magnificent in its own right, with collaboration from world-renowned designers across the world. Gulf Craft unveiled the Majesty 160 superyacht during the Monaco Yacht Show 2022. At 50-metres the Majesty 160 superyacht is the second largest yacht to be built by Gulf Craft, and follows in the footsteps of the Majesty 175, the world’s largest composite production superyacht launched in 2022.Majesty 160 yacht saloonPhoto: Gulf CraftThe Majesty 160 yacht is an evolution of the Majesty 155 and follows the new design precedent of the Majesty line-up, which was introduced earlier this year with the Majesty 111 at the Dubai International Boat Show. Majesty 160 yacht diningPhoto: Gulf CraftThe sleek tri-deck yacht is due to go into production this year at Gulf Craft’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Umm al Quwain, UAE. She has been designed by award-winning Italy-based design studio Cristiano Gatto Design who took care of both exterior and interior lines, while her naval architecture is penned by the world-renowned Van Oosennen Dutch Naval Architects.Majesty 160 yacht saloonPhoto: Gulf CraftThe Majesty 160 remains under 500 GT and takes its design cues from the flagship Majesty 175 with a seamless balance between the outdoor and indoor spaces. Her spacious sundeck includes movable furniture for any social setting, alongside an infinity pool with elevated views.Majesty 160 yacht beach clubPhoto: Gulf CraftMajesty 160’s beach club is a customizable multi-purpose space with natural light that can be used as a lounge or bar area, a gym or health club, making it an ideal place to relax after a long day of water activities. The swim platform also provides direct access to the water, while the fold-down balconies located on both portside and starboard side of the platform allow for sunbathing throughout the day.Majesty 160 yacht beach clubPhoto: Gulf CraftPerformance-wise, the Majesty 160 will be powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M87, 2000 horsepower engines for an estimated top speed of 19.5 knots. The 37-metre Majesty 120 motor yacht was first launched in 2020 as a continuation of the Majesty yacht design ethos by having a universal appeal, much like her bigger sister the Majesty 140. She features angular lines and contemporary styling and has a universal appeal. Rocket One yacht interior saloonThe Majesty 120 yacht’s exterior was designed by Gulf Craft’s in-house studio and is constructed with advanced composite materials. She features exterior design by her builder Gulf Craft, while her naval architecture was penned by Soyaslan Design Team to create a sleek and modern profile. Rocket One yacht interiorThe tri-deck yacht enlisted Cristiano Gatto Design to design her modern and stylish interior with light woods and furnishings that emulate a nautical theme. The renowned designer previously collaborated with the UAE-based shipyard on the design of the Majesty 175 and the interiors of the Majesty 140. The 33.8-metre Majesty 111 superyacht was unveiled in March at the Dubai International Boat Show. The 230 GT model has a sleek and modern appearance with an asymmetric layout that appeals to a wide range of markets. Majesty Yachts has a strong ethos of taking onboard customer feedback, and the Majesty 111 is the result of this with her universal appeal.Majesty 111 yacht interior designThe Majesty 111 motor yacht is described by Gulf Craft as “anything but an average superyacht, and will set the design precedent for all future Majesty models.” She features a strong aesthetic flair, courtesy of Dutch design studio Phathom with plenty of natural light and a tranquil yet refined interior. This is the first time Phathom have worked with Gulf Craft and the duo already has many more projects in the pipeline.Majesty 111 yacht interior designOne of the many unique features of the Majesty 111 is her perfect balance between indoor and outdoor spaces. Her main deck saloon leads to her aft deck via an electric glass sliding door, where guests can relax on her conversation sofas.
